They say that bad things come in threes.... I believe it now!
This week has been the worst on in my life for a long time....
Lets begin at the beginning shall we? Monday, I was on the way to pick up my paycheck. I was headind south on WhiteBluff Rd and noticed an accident in the left North bound lane. As I was in fairly heavy traffic, although I made note of the accident, I continued to pay full attention to my driving as traffic was fairly heavy at the time. Traffic came to a complete stop and I complied, leaving about 10 feet between my truck and the car that was infront of me. within seconds the car behind me SLAMMED me in the rearend. WE were hit so hard that my truck was shoved within inches of the car in front of me and it knocked my passengers hat right off his head! I 'll know if they are going to total my truck tommorrow!

Yeaterday... my daughter calls crying her little heart out ( she's almost 31 but she is still my baby) She is distraught, and sobbing and between sobs she tells me that her good friend (and god father to her children) has Passed away. we KNEW that he had health problems, but NEVER expected him to pass so soon. Sam Johnson was a wonderful man and fellow blogger, and a very good friend to my daughter. He will be missed.

So today, my father in law calls. My husbands aunt Lane died this morning from a massive heart attack. Once again a totally unexpected, and devistating death. Johns Aunt Lane was a sweet christian woman that was easy going and had never said an unkind word to anyone. she accepted me as part of her family unconditionally even though I am 25 years older than my Husband. She will be missed, and WE LOVE you. to Uncle Ronnie our hearts are with you. And we love you

My Vacation

This past week my Husband and I got to take our first ever REAL honest to god vacation. He has been at his current job for 6 months and had EARNED a weeks paid vacation ( and damn it we were due for a little R & R) Our original plan was to go see my mother and some of my family in both Virginia and Pennsylvania, but that plan fell through.. It's a long story and I won't bore you with those details, but, I do need to Blog about our trip!

We have a friend that lives in North Carolina and he has wanted to have us come to his house for a visit so we took him up on his offer... We got to NC late Monday evening and we were impressed with the area, quite and peace abounded ( or so we thought) the area that we were in while we were in NC was VERY rural... so rural in fact that you could actually here roosters crowing in the morning ( I haven't had that pleasure in eons...)So, Hubby and I are thinking ... Hell Yes!!!! We will get to relax. Our friend has a new girlfriend that is currently living in his home OMG what a piece of work that woman is!!! Due to unfortunate circumstances our friend had to work while we were there, His time off will be during the Holidays, so she would take him to work every day while we were there, and that would be the last that we saw of her until she brought him home that night. This woman would run the roads and do god only know what with god only know who the entire time he was at work.. she lied to him, I suspect that she has cheated on him and she talked trash about him to no end. she tells him that she loves him, BUT, I think that she is using him.. All she ever talked about the entire time we were there was the fact that SHE had a car to drive!! "I've got X Y &Z " blah, blah, blah, ad nausea. She has even manipulated him into buying an engagement ring for her.. albeit one from Wal-mart
( I guess cheap hos get cheap jewelry) He has actually considered putting a ring on layaway for her. ( I keep asking myself "is this man stupid, or desperate or both) This man has some serious financial problems as he is close to being evicted because the house he is currently living in is now behind by 4 payments on the morgage, as his parents have both been put into hospice and that takes ALL of their income and then some. He can't afford to be married to this drain on society, or to buy her a ring just to keep getting the booty ( which ain't that often because she says she is sick every single night) It is terrible to watch all the crap she has done while we were there? I feel so sorry for him, but I can't do a damn thing for him because he just doesn't get it. I know that he is lonely but I cannot believe that any man would be so desperate that he would put up with the kind of shit she dished out just to have someone in his life!!!!

The day before we left to come home this man actually ended up in the hospital because of this piece of trash. He awoke on Friday to her bitching, moaning and talking shit about him in the most unkind way.. the stuff coming out or her mouth was so bad that I don't think that a woman that was leaving her husband would be that unkind. She was being just as nasty and mean and a junkyard dog and he had to listen to this, to his credit he didn't blow up, but to his determent he didn't confront her either.... instead he just sat there and listened and swallowed all the bile she was spewing, the next thing we know he was in the hospital with symptoms of a heart attack. The Doctors said he has high blood pressure! Ya think? so yesterday we are coming back from NC and she was being a total bitch and being just as nasty as she could possibly be!! I admit I can be a bitch and I can be unkind, but I cannot fathom for the life of me what ANY man could see in a woman like her. I NEVER talk about my husband as bad as she did our friend, and believe me that are several times that if I had I would have had good cause. Still I have never stooped to that level. All I can do now is to hope and pray that he wises up soon and kicks her to the curb. She is the type of woman that gives all women a bad name.

HOW TO SCREW YOUR CO-WORKER WITHOUT REALLY TRYING

O k here we go, my husband is NOT the brightest man in town BUT, there are times when he really surprises me, tonight was one of those night, He comes home and tells me that he will be working both the 13th and 14th of December, this means extra hours AND a big fat paycheck for us, right before Christmas. Now for the Karma part of this situation, It seems that he gave some serious Karma to a co-worker, that has tried to screw him over on at least two different occasions, perhaps I should give a little background on the sitch. Mr X is the Wednesday to Sunday security guard where my husband is employed as the on-site maintenance man and as part of his job he works the Monday night and Tuesday night security detail, when holidays arrive as there are 2 that are paid holidays when no one works except the security person my Husband and Mr X are the only ones that get hours AND holiday pay for those days. those days just happen to be Thanksgiving and Christmas. However there is still more to the "back Story" as to Mr X giving the proverbial shaft to hubby. there was an incident at 4 am when there was a person that was a lock out for non payment, we did not know this and had not been informed that he had contacted Mr X repeatedly to be let in. All we knew was that a guest couldn't get into his room and that he said that he couldn't get Mr X to respond to his numerous phone call, and knocks at the door. We figured Mr X wasn't on the property, as this has occur ed on numerous occasions, and was really nothing new, so in the middle of the night I go let ol' boy in COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS TO THE FACT THAT MR X WAS IN HIS ROOM THE WHOLE TIME IGNORING THE GUEST, again we didn't know any of this because NO ONE thought to pick up the phone and say "hey guys, dipwad is a lock-out and might try to get you to let him in cuz, he's been buggin the crud outta me all night! well Mr X laid all the Blame at hubby's feet and the doodoo hit the fan and splattered EVERYWHERE! The next thing was right before Thanksgiving Mr x calls my husband and says " I'll work Thanksgiving and you work Christmas"..... Hubby almost bought that line of crap until I was voicing my opinion of how much shite that was, and Hubby called him back and said NO ! you work Christmas and I will work on turkey day, because we are going to any ones house anyway ( daughter and her husband are in the middle of a move to Hawaii, and weren't going to be in their house then, and there isn't anyone else we want to spend that day with. ( but I digress... so, back to my tale of woe is MR X) anyway that was the first time he got what was due, because when he called hubby he tried to sound as if it was he that was in charge, not their boss, and it blew up in his face because I am smarter than he is by a very long shot! anyway, the Christmas Holiday is approaching, and we leave for Vacation on 12/15 ( just a week this time but a well deserved week it is) and we are due to return on 12/20. any way the week that we are gone MR X will be doing the security detail on the days that hubby normally does them Mr Boss Man told Hubby that he would do his maintenance duty's but would have to call HIS boss to figure out what to do about the security detail..... well without much thought ( at least I don't think the really thought about it.... it appears to have been more of a gut instinct. He tells Mr Boss man I'll work the 13Th and 14Th for Mr X so he can work my shifts while I am on Vacation. Now for the final insult, that screws Mr X out of the extra hours and pay right before Christmas AND the " full week " that he'll work..... won't see that money until New Years (ROFLMAO) Below is a graphic so you can have a good laugh too!

The Destruction of a Beautiful Swamp

THE DESTRUCTION OF A BEAUTIFUL SWAMP

There was a beautiful swamp behind my daughters house until this morning. This swamp was the home to lots of various wildlife, a family of Snowy Egrets have bee there since she moves in, It gave my grandson and I hours of pleasure to watch her meander through the swamp hunting for food, she is tall and graceful, and to watch her in flight is beautiful. there are other forms of wildlife there too, tree frogs and bull frogs and they sing to us after a rain storm and at night, you can hear them calling to one another singing the swamp song of life and harmony. there are also a mated pair of red Hawks that nest in the trees and prey on the wildlife, rats mostly and frogs too, but that is the circle of life and my grandson has an appreciation for animals that is rare in a three year old and I believe that this come from watching the wildlife in this swamp.

Well this morning they came with this BFM ( big fucking machine) and destroyed the swamp it took all of 2 hours to chase all the wildlife away ( including the rats that I watch run into the neighbors yard from swamp, ( warning if you live in NEW GANAM then you might want to buy some rat poison or the humane traps because the 2 dozen or so rats that I saw fleeing the swamp will be looking for a new home and it just mignt be in your house or garage) Not only did they destroy a natural habitat they have now displaces dozens of animals, and created a nuisance by unleashing rats ( that here to fore hadn't bothered anyone) into the neighborhood. and they will be looking for a new home somewhere near you ( they will also be looking for food, water, and nesting materials..) please keep your back yards mowed. free of garbage and put away any items that the rats can eat, chew or use for bedding.

OK OK THAT IS ABSOLUTELY IT!!! I HAVE HAD ALL I CAN STAND SO NOW I MUST BLOG ABOUT MY PLIGHT.
I have reached the end of my rope with Child support Enforcement. Let me begin with a little background information... I left my ex after a severe beat down when my (our) son was just 3 months old. I filed for child support almost immediately......and after a year was awarded a lousy $250.00 a month (that was in 1984) Although I actively helped in the collection effort, I didn't receive a single dime the entire time my son was growing up. Yep you read that correctly NOT A PENNY! Well in July of 2001 I finally got a payment.. I nearly passed out from shock when I got it but hey, at least he was paying ....right? even if it was now an all arrears case! At this point in time he owed me ( and the state) in excess of $60,000.00 YES that is sixty thousand dollars!!!! At this time my portion was about $45,000.00 So, I was perfectly happy to let him send me the money he owed me for raising the boy alone. Time marches on and he is paying on a fairly regular basis, I didn't know then that he and his next wife had separated at the time( which I recently discovered the dates are available on the access to public court information as is a wealth of other information) however I digress... the ex made payments at fairly regular intervals for a good while, until 2003 when he went 66 days without making a payment, I believe he was probably in jail or rehab at that time. as I later talked to someone that was in rehab with him although I have no idea what he was there for. Payments resumed until February of this year, as soon as I got a payment for nineteen dollars($19.00) and change I KNEW something was up, I immediately contacted my case manager and with some checking we found out ( actually I did by calling his employer and talking to a really nice lady there that thought what he had done to my son and I was really messed up! ) that he had quit his job.... He just stopped showing up for work, no calls to the office, no explanation, Nada..... He got another job in May but quit or got fired 3 whole days after the new hire was reported ( my guess is the withholding order hit and he quit rather than pay. How sorry is that? I mean what is the world is with a man that would rather be a BUM instead of paying the money that is owed for the raising of his child, and believe me it cost me a whole lot more that he will ever have to pay. I was in full freak out mode by now as even though I don't really NEED the money I firmly believe that it is VERY important to get every dime I am owed even if it takes my dying breath... the reason for this is that my son is now 25 and the arrears owed are still over $ 40,000.00 $ 30,000.00 of which is mine. Even with the federal tax intercepts of several thousand dollars at a time over the years. Which the state took ALL of the money from, and I think that his "father" should think about him at least once a month especially since he gave him absolutely zero thought while he was growing up.. as is evidenced by the fact that the let his "wife's" petty jealousy stand in the way of any kind of relationship with his son. as a side note I should probably let y'all know that I truly believe that his wifey had a whole lot to do with that. I appears that Mrs. thing can't stand the fact that he had someone in life before her , or that I had something she could never give him HIS FIRST BORN SON!!!! they do have a son now, along with 3 girls from trying so hard to replace mine ( jealousy is a *&%#@ ain't it) at any rate, since February, I have had the worst time trying to collect my money, and DCSE doesn't seem to want to talk to me about MY case. they keep telling me that I should contact my case manager in the other state (whom happens to think that they SHOULD be talking to me as I seem to always find out information they can't ) as they "can't " talk to me....WHAT? WHAT DO YOU MEAN CAN'T? IT'S MY CASE. MY MONEY. I AM THE ONE THAT ASKED MY HOME STATE TO CONTACT AZDES TO HELP WITH ENFORCEMENT. I cannot for the life of me figure out the mindset of AZDES. They refuse to give me even basic general info on child support regulations in Arizona, such as time frames etc. refuse to give me information that is specific to my case, such as what they are doing to enforce my order, are they going to jail him, that kinda thing and they won't even take the information that I found out by using the web, I have googled him ( that's how I found his job site) used the web to search for him, I even paid the $ 30.00 to u s search to get his new address for them. I have found criminal records, a record of property that is jointly owned with his brother NOT his wife. and various and sundry other information that could be beneficial in helping to collect. Yet they STILL won't talk to me. Ergo my question.... HOW do I get a bunch of pig headed bureaucrats to listen to what I have to say? I have contacted the office of the Governor, and the Attorney General, trying to get this case moving again, but to no avail. I have begged, pleaded, cajoled, threatened, asked , you name it I have done it, they just don't want information that will help them to collect. So dear readers, any suggestions? ideas? comments, similar stories? I swear by all that I hold dear that I am going to get every single dime that is owed to me I am just not as patient as I used to be.

Dang Olympics

Okay is anyone else tired of the constant Olympic coverage? I sure am! I have NEVER been a big sports fan anyway, I like baseball yeah, and occasionally some Hockey, but I am so sick of flipping the channels and find Olympic coverage. There is quite enough sports on TV as it is I despise basketball, football, golf, and all the other "bloody sports, I LOVE the Orioles, and the Yankees, I can even watch the Indians play ( thanks Gary) , but I am all done with the Olympics... really now is it just me or what? It seems like they show the same event like 3 times in a day (in case you missed it the first two times) ho really wants to see the same stuff over and over again? It's like the videos they show on the news! did you see the one of the cops kicking the handcuffed suspect? they played the same video over, and over, and over.... OMG okay they are some bad cops, what is the point of the never ending loop? do you think that we missed that? There are plenty of other things on t v to watch , thank GOD.... but my husband and I have opted to use or blockbuster and Netflix accounts more than we usually would and that my friends speaks VOLUMES we are currently renting 6 plus movies a week ... We've seen some really good ones lately too, so if you are bored to tears with the Olympics, rent a movie and take a break from all the garbage, and have a few laughs at the same time
